look at this gorgeous emblem. every season, for 6 seasons now, there's an emblem for hitting max division (rank) in destiny 2 pvp. it's a great, simple motivation to spend a bunch of time playing to win in a pvp game where progress cannot be taken for granted, and that experience has been gratifying every single time even when i'm challenged hard enough to feel out of my depth and not good enough to win. micro-adaptation and strategic analysis and making plays and measurably getting better - feels good. this is one of the gifts i want to give with wasteheaven, a platform that allows for this kind of expression.
